Q: Why are these children's books being recalled?
A: Hachette Book Group is recalling these 2 books due to possible choking and laceration hazards. A metal rod holds small beads on the cover of the books. Should the rod release from the book, the beads pose potential choking hazards and the rod, when separated from the product, may pose a potential laceration hazard. This recall is being conducted in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada.

Q: How do I know if I have one of the recalled books?
A: Two titles are being recalled. Pictures of the books are available at www.hachettebookrecall.com. The books carry a cover price of $7.99 US/$8.99 Canada. To verify that you have one of the recalled books, look on the back of the book (bottom right hand side), near the barcode, for the printed ISBN number:

Q: Can I continue to use the book instead of participating in the recall?
A: No. Please stop using the book and contact us for a full refund and return it back to us. You will be provided a pre-paid return label.

A: No. Please contact us for a full refund.

Q: I got the book free. May I still receive a refund of the cover price?
A: Yes.

Q: I don't have a receipt for the book. May I still receive a refund?
A: Yes.

Q: What if I purchased the book as a gift or gave it away?

Q: Can I just return the book to the store where I bought it?
